Switch Grass
Description: This switch grass is noted for its grayed blue-green foliage, dense habit and unusually large flower panicles. Flowering late in the season with a rich winter foliage color. Typically grows in a dense, upright, vase-shaped clump. Grayed blue-green foliage is wider than most panicums, and foliage turns attractive shades of rust brown to warm tan in winter.
Planting/Use: Medium to wet soil.
General Care: Cut back in early spring to promote new flush of growth.
Exposure: Full sun to part shade
